KPEP has announced that residential operations at its Benton Harbor facility, located at 497 Waukonda, concluded on March 3, 2025.

This decision follows a comprehensive review of program utilization, referral volume, and long-term sustainability. While residential services will no longer operate at the Benton Harbor location, KPEP remains fully committed to serving justice-involved individuals through its residential facilities in Kalamazoo, Muskegon, and Calhoun County.

All current residents will be transitioned to one of these locations to ensure continuity of care, and new referrals will be accommodated without interruption. KPEP will continue working closely with MDOC field offices, probation and parole agents, and court partners to ensure a smooth transition.

We are grateful for the longstanding collaboration and partnership in Berrien County and remain committed to providing high-quality residential services across the communities we serve.
