KPEP has provided services in Berrien County since February 2001. Located at 497 Waukonda in Benton Harbor, KPEP provides both residential and outpatient programs. The Michigan Department of Corrections parole offices are also located on site.

ROBYN SHERRICK

PROGRAM MANAGER

Robyn graduated from Indiana University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in criminal justice. Robyn began her career at the Berrien KPEP facility in 2003 as a resident coordinator and quickly was promoted to case manager overseeing district court probation, female offenders, Friend of the Court and Transitional Housing. Robyn was promoted to program manager in 2012. Robyn is a member of the Niles-Buchanan Rotary Club.

April Nachtigal, Clinical Supervisor at KPEP

APRIL NACHTIGAL

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

April started her career at KPEP in 2004 as a full-time resident coordinator. She has held several positions including resident coordinator supervisor, case manager, and therapist before her current role as program manager/clinical supervisor. April came to the job with extensive experience completing assessments and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions. She is a Certified Clinical Supervisor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She earned her Bachelor of Harts and Master of Arts in psychology from Western Michicagn University in 1996 and 1999 respectively. Prior to joining KPEP, April worked with adjudicated youth.
