April Nachtigal, Clinical Supervisor at KPEP

APRIL NACHTIGAL

CLINICAL SUPERVISOR

April started her career at KPEP in 2004 as a full-time resident coordinator. She has held several positions including resident coordinator supervisor, case manager, and therapist before her current role as program manager/clinical supervisor. April came to the job with extensive experience completing assessments and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions. She is a Certified Clinical Supervisor, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. She earned her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in psychology from Western Michigan University in 1996 and 1999 respectively. Prior to joining KPEP, April worked with adjudicated youth.

JOSHUA JACOBUS

PROGRAM MANAGER

Josh graduated Magna Cum Laude from The University of Olivet in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice. He began his career as a bailiff with the 10th District Court before transitioning to a full-time Resident Coordinator position at the Calhoun KPEP facility. In 2023, Josh joined the therapeutic team at the Eaton County KPEP WRAP program as a Group Facilitator. His dedication and expertise led to his promotion to Federal Program Manager at the Calhoun KPEP in 2024.
