[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]One of the strengths of our organization is the quality and experience of our staff. Out of our nearly 150 employees, we have 25 staff members who have been with us for ten years or more and another 30 with more than five years experience.
Providing competitive wages and benefits are important, but quality training is essential, especially as an organization is growing and adding staff. The ACA accreditation process requires 120 hours of training the first year and 40 hours each year after. Several years ago we implemented an online training program which has been crucial to reaching our training requirements.
It’s also important that we recognize and honor those employees who are doing outstanding work. Every quarter we recognize one staff person at each facility as an “Employee of the Quarter”. At the end of each year we recognize our “Employees of the Year”. What I like about this process is the peer recognition. Each staff person gets to nominate up to three of their colleagues and give reasons why he/she should be honored.
